I think it’s really interesting that I can draw blood from animals and spend hours in the OR watching surgeries, but as soon as I have to go to the doctor’s for a tummy ache I’m overwhelmed by crippling anxiety.

I’m suddenly super weirded out by the fact that this is probably the last time I’ll be living at home for an extended period of time. If my interview at the vet hospital went as well as I think it did, I’ll be working in Amherst year round. Which means living in Amherst year round. Weird.

Job interview tomorrow
At a veterinary hospital right down the road from my place here in Amherst. And if all goes well, I will hopefully never, ever, EVER have to go back to working at a walgreens/cvs/whathaveyou. Hahah, I suppose I should probably tell the story behind the seagull. My mom was on the way home this morning and saw him get hit by a car. He proceeded to stumble and lie down in the middle of the road, so my mom got her jacket and went to scoop him up when ANOTHER car drove over the poor guy. Idiot drivers. Anyway, he somehow survived this ordeal with only what seems to be a broken leg....
